I saw this show over the weekend and it was very fun! Never been a huge fan of PTM, but my brother got me tickets for Christmas so I went. Snacktime was great, and totally up my alley. Super fun, the crowd was really into them, and overall just had a great show. PTM was great too. I didn't stay for their entire set, but still had a blast. Will check out some of their earlier records again as I liked what I had heard, and they definitely made an impact enough for me to want to listen again
In the IG: Releasing new music soon. "The whole thing is like a collage. There's hardcore, there's metal, there's hip hop..." I am ready for metal Portugal. the man
It sounds great in concept but I worry that in practice it's kinda more of what they have been doing lately
I used to love this band so much but the last decade has been a total snooze for me. I’m not even remotely excited for new music at this point :(
return to form how? I am confused at the notion that Evil Friends was bad, but Woodstock somehow was better?
Hot take? Everything they’ve released since Censored Colors sounds like some generic indie rock you’d hear in a TV commercial
Evil Friends and The Satanic Satanist are my two favorite records of theirs. Woodstock had some chill tracks but I never revisit them because they still pale in comparison to their previous records ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Easy tiger reminds me of "waiter" era so so much. Overall I just feel like it's a more diverse album, my biggest issue with some of their newer stuff is it all just kind of sounds the same and blends together. I think I'm in the minority when it comes to Evil Friends.
Yeah, and with a lot of artists I have never heard of. Which is cool for exposure and such, but none of the songs really do much for me
V.I.S. - Google Drive John Gourley shared the song on Reddit and said to spread it around. I like it alot
Looks like they’re off Atlantic Records? New song also doesn’t do much for me but it’s been that way for 12 years now lol
