This song is my jam! It's been on repeat since yesterday. I also agree Evil Friends is their best record.

 

Did not know this. Were the clips any good? That old album name sounds...dumb.

 

This band may have jumped the shark for me.

Was only sort of on board with Evil Friends. These last two tracks might just be too much.

 

Song is great. I'm a Censored Colors man myself but I think all their records are good except In the Mountain

 

I thought Censored Colors was their weakest. Very strange band. People are all over the place

 

Yeah I agree. I hated most of Censored Colors. Same goes for American Ghetto.

 

I do think Waiters, SS, and EF are their best albums front to back however I have been going back to Church Mouth A LOT over the last few years. It's starting to sneak in as my favorite. Just so many classic rock sounding jamz.

 

I literally forgot about American Ghetto. damn

 

It's half great, half super eh. My least favorite other than In the Mountain, now that I think of it.

Censored Colors has the greatest sound of any record. It sounds like it was recorded in a cave or like a giant wooden church in the dead of winter. I can't tell which side I prefer but man, amaaaaazing record.

 

I honestly just love every album.

this is a weird band to rank but I'd love to see others. Waiter might be as good as SS, haven't listened in a while though.

 

Waiter > Church mouth > Evil Friends > Wizard > ITMITC > Censored Colors=American Ghetto=Satanic Satanist (in that I don't particularly remember anything of the last three)

 

Amend this by revisiting SS and CC

 

This may be my exact order too. Censored Colours and Satanic Satanists are rather different, in that CC is them at their grandest version of classic rock, while SS demonstrated their shift to pop - but they're the two that stuck with me most years on.

 

Hell yeah. Love the bluesiness of Church Mouth, but it has hits and misses throughout. Same with Waiter, which loses a lot of steam at the end. Evil Friends is solid altogether but the parts never wowed me much.

 

Actually I'm thinking Church Mouth as an equal to Satanic Satanist. Forgot that the gospel-y parts are so hot.
