HOLY FUCK. This came outta nowhere.

Sounds good! Excited for the album...which I think was confirmed?

 

Yeah it is called Woodstock. However, out of nowhere wouldn't be how I describe it haha. They announced they finished the album over a year ago, called it Doomin+Gloomin, released tons of clips, then had a change of heart, scrapped a lot of the album and took it in a new direction, becoming Woodstock.

 

Well it's out of nowhere to me, haha. I didn't know any of that.

I really hope I didn't come across as rude. Definitely not my intention. I actually wish it was out nowhere for me too as the wait and teasing has been unbearable lol

God damn i love this song, catchy as hell.

 

It's still crazy to me that i saw this band opening for scary kids scaring kids back in the day, they've come a long way.

 

Like "Noise Pollution" this is a song that rules and I can play it in the car with my friends that only like radio crap and they won't complain. Fun for the whole family!

 

Wasn't expecting to like this song as much as I did. Much popper than I remember them sounding

 

I. Do. Not. Likey. I've been a fan since the first album and the last album was absolutely not for me and this seems more or sobthe same direction. Mountain in the sky is a pretty hard album to top though

 

Bummer, I loved D+G as a title. I hope we can hear the scrapped album one day..?

 

This song is alright but "Noise Pollution" is a GODDAMN JAM!

Also Evil Friends is their best record next to The Satanic Satanist. That's right. I said it.

John has said stuff will trickle out when the time is right. Or something along those lines. We can only hope

 

I've loved both songs from this so far, and I think from listening to both its going to be a very diverse record. I'm pumped.

Kind of meh on this song. This band is so frustrating. They are sooo fucking good live, but their records after Church Mouth have always felt...thin? Like the horns in the background of this song are almost non-existent. I want them to release a fucking loud jam session of a record with super long songs and weird parts.

I don't know, that's all on me. They're a great band.

and yeah, this record has been a long time coming. Remember when they used to put out a full length every year?

 

Well I said it under the assumption Noise Pollution will be on the record.

 

Songs like "Modern Jesus" and "Waves" hit me right in the gut every single time. I love it. Amazing record from start to finish. Their best yet.
