Just watched this for the first time and it surpassed all expectations and also how am I supposed to just go to sleep now when I am this high on CINEMA

 

This was so long but so beautiful. The slow burn was kinda a lot but made up for it with the ending

I too was wondering about how Sophie became pregnant lol but I just assumed they see men sometimes (for instance messengers came and went etc)

 

I’m never going to get over this film. Just surpassed every expectation I had which were already extremely high. Just.... astonishing. Loved it. Could immediately be one of my favorite films ever. The last shot is amazing. Adele Haenel should win an Oscar.

I assumed that means an exclusive purchase / rental window but I’m not sure.

 

That’s what I thought at first but they tagged the Apple TV+ account and not the iTunes account. I guess we’ll see tomorrow lol.

Went to go buy the Criterion blu-ray. Why do they charge $7 for standard shipping???

 

saw this last night. incredible for all the reasons people mentioned, plus those final minutes are probably gonna stay with me for some time

Finally watched this yesterday, and it was one of my favorite movies of the past couple of years, easily. Watching it again tonight. Every shot is stunning.

 

There’s a theater screening of this coming up in a few weeks at my local spot. No way I am missing that.
