Season 7 Begins January 5, 2017 Trailer for Season 7: 'Portlandia' Mocks Men's Rights Activists in Season 7 Trailer
I made the mistake of reading some Facebook comments on a recent feature about Portlandia. So many people livid, apparently blaming all of Portland's problems on the show. They don't seem to realize they're parodying themselves.
Dammit. Actually pretty bummed about this, the newest episodes have been so great, I feel like the show still has juice left but, of course that's Fred & Carrie's call.
Yeah they made that announcement when S7 was announced. This show still makes me crack up week after week and I'll miss it, but it doesn't really need to go beyond 8 seasons, and I'm sure Carrie and Fred will still do other stuff I'll enjoy.
Wonder if that means Carrie will do more with SK. Either way stoked, love everything these two have done
Really interesting take, sad it's ending but I could totally understand why they've decided to step away from it for now. Hopefully Fred and Carrie work on another project together at some point in the future. https://www.avclub.com/portlandia-was-the-perfect-obama-era-comedy-series-and-1822160135
I was going to say the same thing, didn't like the horses stuff but I really dug the band getting back together. The podcasting was pretty funny too.
It is? Good, I thought this was the last one because on demand said it ends the 18th. Glad this wasn't the last episode
