Besides the odd shit going on with people and their seats, the Philly show was amazing. It’s so cool thinking about how he was just an unknown opener when I first saw him and now we’re here. And I’m happy he kept talking about how happy he is and how much his music means to him and us. Dude never lets me down. This was probably the first time that I kept my shit together during Language since he started performing it. But there was no more holding it back with what he followed it with. Lol
This isn’t my video, but this was the show where I saw a basically unknown Porter and Zedd open for Skrillex on 7/8/2011. Just mind blowing to me. Edit: I believe that venue closed in 2014, so even that’s a throwback as well.
Does anyone have a non-laggy version of the coachella performance? I can't seem to find one and youtube isn't cutting it
I'm probably biased as I jumped onto him with this album cycle but this album is my fav from him but his other stuff is great as well
Russian roulette is such a powerful song “I put the gun against the thing that’s stopping me” is one of the hardest bars I’ve ever heard
"funny monkey takes a piss into his own mouth" >>> Also after the early mild disappointment, this is in my top 5 for the year now.
I wanna kiss my cat one more time I wanna thank my dad one more time I had a suicidal episode earlier this year where I came extremely close to pulling the trigger (metaphorically that’s not how I was doing it) but thoughts like that were going through my head, so the other night when I’m listening to this for the first time and that bridge came on my eyes were welling up something fierce
It’s probably tied with “red horizon” by fit for an autopsy for my song of the year. also “ain’t it sweet” by balance and composure. that’d probably be my top 3 songs to come out this year
I'll say Cheerleader is 'only' at 94 on P4K's top 100 songs of 2024 only because I get to say that IT'S NOT FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIR
