Believe me, I'm just as frustrated. It's annoying to have to drive a minimum of two hours to the nearest Round1 and then have to fight with sticking arrows when they could just issue the update for the white machines in DnBs and Round1 and Konami just... won't, for some inexplicable reason But regardless of all of that, I'm very happy for Porter in this case
Newly uploaded HQ audio from Second Sky ‘22… Was a really great time… crazy it’s nearly been 3 months! Bonus pic of my friends and I with Potaro lol.
Just want to reiterate how much this album affected me. What a collection of songs and artwork. There's a true vision to it all. Unfortunately I never got to see Porter perform it live, but there's more than enough awesome footage!
Just popping back in to say this album is still amazing and I really hope to catch Porter the next time he tours. Also guess it's worth mentioning that since posting this, I did get the chance to play Something Comforting and Look At The Sky on DDR. Had to drive a couple hours to a Round1 with a working gold DDR cab, but it was absolutely worth it. It was actually hard for me to score well at first on either of them because I could barely contain my excitement at them being in the game.
I caught that coachella set on Sunday or saturday can't remember but man, that was amazing. teared up a few times. trying to feel alive really got me lol. He is pretty incredible live
he's only done it twice: Second Sky 22 'Together' and Coachella 23 round 1. third time this weekend for round 2! HQ video of the set for @Serenity Now and @Ferrari333SP
His music is larger than life, yet he manages to be such a down to earth dude. Thank you Porter Robinson.
It's pretty amazing, really fun to watch. I saw him and Madeon do the nurture set at Coachella whatever year that was and it was wild. This was my first year not going to Coachella since 2010 and after watching the Porter set, it's easily top 3 things I am bummed to have missed
I always thought the band approach was a cool idea… felt from the get-go that Nurture was just like a “digital” indie pop/rock album in songwriting, and instrumentally… It definitely works!
Yea the live version with the band is exactly the kind of set up I’m looking for. Wish more artists in this genre did this. same goes for hip hop artists.
Friend-of-Porter James Ivy's new EP "Everything Perfect" out now And I sequenced all of his songs from 2021-2023 into a 54-minute playlist so it feels like an LP:
