You can probably find Tayto chips at your standard issue Irish pub in the US, sometimes you get lucky and they have them in the international aisles at grocery chains
also you guys should listen to LA-via-Nantes producer Hugo 'Madeon' Leclerq if you haven't already - Porter fans will at the very least be aware of him because of Shelter but they've run in the same circles for years. Here's his new single:
Figured I'd post this here since it's pretty similar to Porter's Virtual Self stuff so I think some of you guys might also like it. It's from DDR so the similarity is probably not that surprising
Porter, Hugo and Anamanaguchi have all helped out on each other's stuff in the past and are extremely tight, which works for me because they're all on a tear rn
Something I just noticed on the Second Sky website… it still lists that the opening act is “coming soon” Who could it be? I know that Porter likes to open his festival, but is he really going to play 3 times? lol
I think between this new song and like if there was something like this new version of The Thrill on Nurture, it would’ve been just, immediate 10/10. Like if there’s one thing musically that Nurture needed to be absolutely perfect, it would be this… I freaking cried the first time I saw this lol, like… what? Idk how he does it.
I dunno how many other people here follow rhythm games at all but I figured some of you might find it cool that Look At The Sky and Something Comforting made it onto the newest Dance Dance Revolution game. Here's a short video from him where he talks about it and how DDR influenced his music EDIT: Figured I should have mentioned that it's currently only on the gold DDR machines exclusive to Round1 and machines in Hawaii for now. So if your only closest arcade is a Dave and Buster's or a Round1 with just the normal white DDR machines, you won't be able to play it yet. Those ones are supposedly getting the update sometime soon, though Konami has been extremely vague about when that's supposed to be.
