Not a Christmasy feel, but the outro of Look At The Sky for some reason reminds me of summer in northern MI. Like being up on Mackinac Island or something… the chime that sounds like you’re walking into an old shop in the middle of town… go outside and there’s the water, the boats, the lighthouse out on the point… bright sunny day with the pillowy clouds… The sounds throughout the album are so “visual” it’s insane.
I don’t know what other thread to post this in so I chose here, but the new album by Jaron is the most exciting and impactful thing I’ve heard since finding “Nurture.”
that was one of the best shows I personally have ever seen. life-affirming shit. Nurture helped me hang on after being dumped in December and there's an alternate timeline where I kms in January after the breakup and my ensuing descent into severe depression - tonight I am so happy to be alive.
I’m a little late lol, but I’ve been getting into Porter’s music for the first time and WOW. Worlds was already great, but Nurture is next level.
yeahhhhhh we love to see it also the London show last week had one of the best crowds I was ever a part of, guy's really just on another level rn
This peaked my curiosity… I’ll be whipping up a makeshift tayto sandwich one of these days and will report back lol
Tayto review is already in! Had to sub the Tayto brand chips out for Lays cheddar & sour cream and sour cream & onion, being in the US… already had the Kerrygold butter… It was actually good … Just did half a sandwich which is probably about all I could allow myself to eat of this sort of thing lol but it was pretty solid! The butter was surprisingly present when you bite in.
