His use of auto tune is exactly what I want anyone who uses auto tune to do with it. It’s insane.

 

I haven’t really paid attention to anything from them since Pool, but seeing a bit of hype around this album and kind of surprised it found its way into my rotation so early on such a big release day, but digging it on first listen. I think it’ll get a lot of spins from me this summer. Love Itch and Usa.

 

If you like this one, you should check out All Day Gentle Hold ! which was not as dark or heavy but still brought some guitars back into the mix. If you miss the sound of Pool, I highly recommend The House, which is my favorite, and then Ricky Music.

 

I’ll definitely go back through the rest of the catalogue now and give those a proper listen
