I just ate some pizza and walked down and watched that scene and almost threw up from laughing so hard.
Just got back from the movie and I really enjoyed it. Love the bigger production, it's so much fun rooting for the team, haha
Also, it is very funny, but I'd argue kinda niche. 5 mil still seems low, but it's definitely not a movie for everybody!
Super super great, Will Arnett, Eric Andre, Chelsea Peretti and Mike Birbiglia killed me with their absurd TMZ parody, it was just transcendent.
Cmz, the bee scene, and the wolves were the best. Exceeded my already high expectations, have no idea the last time I laughed so hard. Oh and Deborah
If it's before the movie comes out they usually base the predictions off of presale tickets and number of screens playing the film. Then once they have Friday numbers, they can better figure out how it'll do Saturday and Sunday.
That makes sense, and yes I was curious about pre-release numbers. I never really questioned it before but was shocked that this was projected so low. I feel like it's had great marketing, and while Samburg may not be a proven bankable star, he is somewhat known and they are hyping up big list of major cameos. I'm sure it doesn't help that there are s lot of big movies currently out.
It was too obsessed with celebrity itself than a proper satire, but there were some strong moments. Unfortunately, more often than not, they went on too long, much like The Lonely Island songs themselves. It was okay.
Hilarious, especially "Equal Rights" and "Bin Laden." Loved the Matthew Modine and Jason Segal jokes too. And now I can say I've seen Judd Appatow's dick.
