The beat on Karate Guy is legit fantastic, and the chorus gets stuck in my head all the time


I love the Popstar album but I couldn't call it my favorite of their albums, especially since it's mostly just Andy (which makes sense obviously). Incredibad and Turtleneck are probably tied

 

Spring Break Anthem is a top 5 TLI song. The only knock against it is James Franco in the music video.

Yeah that song rules and like someone above said, it's unfortunate it is still relevant, but the basic juxtaposition is a comedy conceit that if it doesn't age well, will at least likely hold up to future scrutiny due to the positive point it is making.

Some of the earlier or less remembered digital shorts are the ones that still make me laugh the hardest, like Space Olympics. Ras Trent is such a detailed parody of white reggae posers that it makes me suspect one of them was one at some point

 

I was so delightfully surprised when they played Ras Trent on the tour

And yeah Space Olympics is great, really great performance from Andy on there and I love the instrumental
