Akiva is low-key the funniest character in this movie.

 

If Wet Hot American Summer got 2 seasons, I could see it. Another movie that has a cult following but I don't think it did too well box office wise either.

 

They were all in the Michael Bolton Valentines Day special but out of all of them Akiva was the only one involved in the writing

 

What was the third movie? I've only seen Hot Rod and Popstar.

To be fair, Jorma was the only one involved with “Macgruber.”

There’s lots of casual Lonely Island fans, but I don’t think I’ve met anyone who knows these movies and had just a mild amusement with them. Interesting disconnect there

 

Ah I had no idea they were connected to MacGruber. Another gem.

 

I catch myself thinking/saying "They Are Going TO FUCK!" all of the time. Best movie. Also I hope all of you have watched the like 20+ minutes or whatever of deleted scenes because there are so many gems in there.

 

Has to be him or tim meadows.

This thread popping up keeps shocking me that this movie is only two years old. I would have said like 5 or something. All the hype makes me want to give it a shot.

I really didn't think this to be true but, just finished watching it. I think it's better. Damn.

 

I love Popstar but Hot Rod takes the edge because this is the best scene ever put to film

 

Watch them back to back. Popstar is the way better film.
