Hahaha I do not like those songs very much, but I get down with I Run NY and The Compliments.

 

"The Compliments" is so funny. I think "I Run NY" is super clever and well-done, and I like it a lot, but it's the kind of song where I laughed the first time I heard it but now when I hear it I just enjoy it without laughing.

 

That's the secret weapon of The Lonely Island is that none of them are particularly good at rapping or singing, but their songs are good enough songs on their own to warrant listening past the initial laughter.

 

Their beats/production is genuinely fantastic and they have some really catchy hooks lol

Okay, so I finally picked up the Bluray and watched this tonight and caught something so random... in the scene right after the wolves attack Seal is a bunch of people filming themselves on their smart phones criticizing Connor... one of the angry fans is the actor who played the Black Ranger on Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (IMDB confirmed this)

Finally watched this, Bin Laden song had me dying. So good.

 

The track never fails to crack me up. It also got a music video, featuring Vanessa Bayer as Bin Ladin Girl.

 

Watched this a second time. What killed me was when the Style Boyz are about to reunite in the limo and Conner and Owen look at Lawrence who has the serial killer resting face.

 

I forget if it was mentioned here but wasn't the penis in that scene actually of someone well-known, I think maybe Will Forte?

Have they ever done a full set before? It'd be tough to pull off a legit show since they'd have costume and set changes à la Weird Al

 

They tweeted “our first concert” so I don’t think they’ve actually done a legitimate set before.

How hilarious would it be if they do a Connor4Real waldrobe malfunction?
