One of my favs from the album, good to know they filmed a bit for it.

 

This was so hilarious. I'm ashamed for not having seen it in theaters. Definitely giving the full album a spin tomorrow.

I recently listened to Andy's You Made It Weird and it bummed me out a bit cus Pete was saying he really thinks Andy has a hit on his hands and Andy said who knows but he felt good about it.

 

Here's a great article that goes a little more into possible reasons Popstar wasn't a huge financial success.

But damn, I watch it, and I just wish it had lit the world on fire like it deserved to.

 

Rewatched this last night with a bunch of friends and it honestly might be the best comedy I've seen all year (or, more likely, second to Joshy). There are some lines in this that just kill me.

"Of course, the higher you are, the harder you fall. Ask any coconut."

 

Joshy was good? Saw a pretty mixed reception so I passed on it but will definitely get it now

Joshy was amazing. Do you like mumblecore movies? It's comparable to Drinking Buddies (an all-time favorite of mine) or Happy Christmas, a little more drama than comedy at times. But the writing, acting, and direction are all excellent. Very genuine and real-feeling movie.

 

Drinking Buddies is so good. I'll be on the lookout for this.

I think Drinking Buddies is just a terrible film (and I like most everything) but gonna give Joshy a chance either way. Most likely gonna agree with my bud Brando tho
