Finally checking this, holy shit what a great album

 

Have i just not been noticing? Poppy is doing more "puppy online content" again. I noticed she's been doing reels/skits more or at least it's popping up on my feeds.

Ahhh you have to pay a monthly fee to see the full skits. Honestly, I'm for it. Bring back comedy poppy

 

This record is absurd. Find a brand new thing to love every single time I hear it.

Can’t wait to see how it translates to the live show.

support update. Never heard of Kumo 99, but I’m listening now and they’re really not my thing.

 

Don’t know the other two but I can already say House of Protection is too low. Cool to see the Fish connection playing out in real time though.

 

There’s only one opener per show.

 

Oh duh. Interesting, HoP are on my date... might have to make it out for that.

 

Brooklyn has both Kumo and HOP.

Liking what I’m hearing from HOP. Would like to catch their set, but I hope they aren’t on first.

 

Would’ve preferred HOP on my date. Was really hoping for a hardcore band or something, though. I get Kumo 99 who is cool but I didn’t really have any expectations this close to the start of tour without announcing openers until now.

 

I am like 90% certain Jordan Fish is on keys in those.

 

This might be hyperbolic, but I can’t think of an artist with more range. She can do songs like this and Vitals, but also do The Center is Falling Out on the same album.

Unironically listening to this in preparation to the Spiritbox record and it fucking slaps. Can't get Giving Up's and Vital's choruses out of my head.

 

Enjoying the Improbably Poppy and the slight digs at Grimes. Lol I'd laugh if every episode had 1 very small grimes joke

Im glad the poppy team isn't giving up (good pun). Her whole essence rules. The songs are awesome. She releases new songs every year.

I dknt think she's reached rhe type of popularity they want.....but im glad they're not giving up.
