I haven't enjoyed a show like I enjoyed Poppy tonight in a lonnggggggggggg long time



Fuck it was so good.

 

Maybe, but Deftones have been known to be pretty eclectic when picking people to tour with. Their festival had Megan Thee Stallion and Chvrches, so if those fans have been going to Deftones shows they know they can expect something pretty different from them.

I remember the I'm Poppy! video from a while back and found it weird, confusing and kinda pointless.

Listened to this album this week not realizing it was the same artist, and whoa, yeah this record is a beast.

 

LOL yeah, Poppy basically killed old Poppy and it's pretty great

 

I basically interpret the lyrics of Anything Like Me as her rejecting the old Poppy character.

 

Interesting! I saw that as a direct response to the lawsuit from Mars Argo
