ok I've come around to Sit/Stay after listening to it in headphones. That bass riff SLAPS.
Also I didn't register the breakdown in Bite My Teeth the first time around, holy shit, she does an Architects "blegh".

Don't Go Outside is for sure my favourite at the moment, after 3 listens through.

I hear a lot of older In This Moment on this album as well. Very interesting!

  3. Ok. I think I love this album? What the hell?

Give me a metal version of “Let’s Make A Video” so my life can be complete.

This is probably one of the most singularly unique albums I've heard in a long time.

    Love this album so much.

Can anyone give me recs that are similar to the heavy synth/electronic tracks? Like bloodmoney has and parts of anything like me?

  6. There’s bits in this that reminds me a lot of Marilyn Manson. Such an odd turn for Poppy haha.

Hm not much, i'd be willing to check some out. Might sound odd but I kinda prefer female vocalists with that type of music, but maybe not! I'm not sure!

My favorite Manson is his album Mechanical Animals, but Anti-Christ Superstar is more industrial.

I've been seeing people outside of here being not too hot on Sick of the Sun, but like I've been obsessed with that song since it dropped...

I was luke warm on Poppy for a while, liked some songs, wasn't crazy about her. Then when she released Concrete in august, that part completely hooked me like very few songs ever have and I have been obsessed with everything ever since.

    Awesome!

I've been on board since the first album, didn't like the second one, and so I'm very happy to have gotten pulled in again by this one!

Yeah i've always really enjoyed a handful of songs. Maybe 'luke-warm' isn't the right way to say it, but Concrete brought me to a whole new level.

The whole middle part of the last album was completely forgettable. After Chic Chick, there wasn't a good song until the end. It was so oddly structured.
