Well deserved. Wish the album was nominated too though.

 

Catching up on some loose ends I missed this year and this was always an album that seemed like it was gonna be made for me but I never got around to it until now. Haven't listened to her before but have heard things here and there and the shit with the producer and what not.

On first listen I was kind of like "yea this is fine so far" until I got to Fill The Crown and then it picked up immensely for me, pretty much from that point on. The other songs before that will probably rise on future listens, I didn't dislike them they were just kind of alright, but Fill The Crown, Sit/Stay and Bite Your Teeth are my standouts.

 

the EP is very nice, was hoping for something crazy and heavy, but this works too lol

 

lol at alt press saying the Christmas ep filled our holidays with “heavy guitar chords and baby like screaming” when it’s absolutely nothing like that

haha yea gotta say the christmas album was nice and all but was hoping for one/slightly metal aspect.... but still nice.

Word up to Poppy getting a grammy nomination. Agreed it should've been for the whole album

 

I forgot to listen to the Christmas EP, guess I have to wait next year now.
