The album is not great lol but with some vocal lessons I could see her actually making good music. The production is pretty solid. Gen Z's Rebecca Black (she paid for this promo post)
This is a really cool pop playlist that gets updated regularly with new music by (generally) new artists. And then I add all my favorite songs I discover from it to this playlist.
Posted first in the kpop thread, but this might actually be better suited in this thread. I would love to see this blow up the way Jungkook did last summer.
Listening to this Tyla album and it's actually pretty good. Kind of assumed Water was a fluke (unfairly admittedly)
Hive mind! My wife is a high school English teacher and she's going to be teaching her students about repeated motifs/recurring themes in a specific artist's album or discography. Stuff like... Noah Kahan referencing driving, leaves, fall weather, etc. Or Taylor Swift always mentioning lipstick, dresses, stuff like that. Something like a concept album is good too, where there's a central theme across the whole album. Anyway, my wife asked if I'd make a post on Chorus to see if anyone has any other examples she might be able to use in her class. Thanks in advance!
Bleachers is HUGE on that. Wild hearts, New Jersey, reckless love, so many songs call back to other songs and themes. Mostly on the first two albums though
