Raye has so much talent, and I always just had assumed she was building toward an album creatively, but to know that she hasn't been given artistic freedom is heartbreaking

 

I reccomend watching the whole show (it's all part of a playlist on their YouTube), but Misterwives really are such a great live band. I think this song from their set showcases their live show a lot, everyone watch at least this performance!!

Has anyone watched This is Pop on Netflix? I caught a few episodes - Boyz II Men one, autotune/t pain one, and the swedish music producers one. I found them enjoyable.

 

Yeah it was a fun enough watch. There was a ton of stuff I was confused that they completely skipped over though

 

Good show overall, kinda threw me off that most are all from different directors so there's very different vibes. Some were much better than others

 

I loved the Sweden one. Thought the Boyz II Men one was good, but was annoyed they almost completely glossed over Michael McCrary and didn’t bother mentioning the black R&B groups that Boyz II Men helped like All 4 One and Soul IV Real.

 

Those are the only three I’ve watched so far as well. Diggin it though.

 

Blew my mind when the Nirvana The Band The Show guy was the host of the Sweden one.
