My friend and I are a big fan of a lot of the artists coming of of Scandinavian countries, so I made her a map just for fun last night. Figured it would find some fans here too I didn't know LEON was part of the crew til I was listening to her new album last night either. I am sure there's even more that I don't know yet, but these are the ones that I keep up with currently at least

 

LEON is fantastic live; got to see her and Sigrid last year, and Anna of the North earlier this year (with Dagny a few years ago). Just all fantastic artists

 

Sigrid is amazing live, Anna was the last live show I saw... ever, back in Feb. Zara puts on a fucking great show as well. Saw Tove S open for Lorde and she was also fantastic. Saw some of a Tove Lo set at Coachella, I think. And holy shit, MO put on one of the BEST Coachella sets I have ever seen, just pure unadulterated energy the entire time, everyone on their feet dancing.

There really must be something in the water over there, so much great music

Live Me Again should have been a mega hit

 

Dagny got a lot of play from me this year, her album is just so fun. Somebody is definitely the big standout though, such a banger

I don't remember the last year I watched one of these videos but damn if that songlist isn't tragic... Makes it hard to get into this mashup.

 

Having just released a new album and not long before their 10th anniversary as a band, this is a huge blow... hopefully she's okay because this feels so sudden.

 

I heard a month or so ago she was stepping away. I don’t remember how they worded it but it seemed more of a break so making it permanent is sad. Little Mix is underrated and I love her voice.

 

This got me into his mashups. Still the best. Every one after has felt really forced, especially this year.
