Not familiar with them either, which might be weird. I wonder how big they were. I honestly don't remember if I ever heard anything by them, outside of their final single thanks to ap.net's old thread. Perhaps they were more of a US thing? One Direction appeared just after and it seemed like they immediately got all of the spotlight and were more impactful.
My bandmate and I once drank a bottle of wine and ate a plate of cheese while sobbing and eventually noticed Nick Jonas was five feet away from us by himself at a table the entire time
Backed. I’m genuinely shocked so few of y’all know them much. And I say this as someone who was a MAJOR hater in middle school when they were huge I definitely think they’re pretty talented guys and I’m hopeful for this song.
so I just checked, and yeah I was in college when they started out. They weren't even on my radar as existing
So back when I was a youth and wanted to be Britney Spears I trained myself to sing and place my tongue over my teeth like her when I sing "th" and "L" cause I thought it was like sultry af and now it's ingrained and I can't stop it. She has ruined my life
in middle school there was this girl I had a crush on and all she talked about was Jonas Brothers. I proceeded to listen to them a bunch and ended up enjoying them a lot. in high school I dated a girl that was obsessed with Big Time Rush so I learned to enjoy them also. basically those boy bands ruled and we need more of them.
I am way too excited for the Jonas Brothers to be back. I saw them twice like 10 years ago (omg how has it been that long) and at one of the shows, Joe held my hand (probably because I was the only person not screaming and trying to pull him off the stage honestly).
OMG I LOVE JOE. Were his hands soft? Did he smell good? I gotta ask the hard hitting questions Who is the user that ran that 1D fan Twitter and has met them all at events? I forgot who it was but I stupidly asked them about Niall when I should've asked them about Harry's hair. So if ur reading this pls tell me how Harry's hair was up close and in person thanx.
Like I love camp rock (and camp rock 2 is ok too), and I prob watched their show and I deff loved a handful or so of their songs but I was never obsessed or a super fan bc I feel like I was a little older than most of their fan base? I never saw them live or was particularly fangirl about them I still will defend them of course. Also they’re Disney babes which is obviously my whole thing Also I’ve really loved the “oh how the tables have turned” video forever and the fact that they remade it to announce just made my whole week
I feel like the vocal style is trying to be like maroon 5 hard. But overall I think it’s catchy. It’s actually funny to think this might be their first song to rly get top 40 radio play. Even tho they were huge before it was totally in a Disney way and I feel like they didn’t get radio play/mainstream success Anyway what did you guys think
it is a bop TBH it reminds me of a mix of dnce, maroon 5 and one more other one that is bugging me that I can't remember
It's catchy and I can definitely see myself singing along in the car, but I hope there's some variety on the album so it's not just DNCE with the JB name. Also interesting that Kevin seems to have stopped singing (he never sang much to begin with, but he doesn't at all here).
