Troye Sivan was definitely one of my favorites of last year for pop music. Glad he's coming up on a lot of success, as i have enjoyed him since his first EP. Been quite into Lapsley these days as far as pop music goes.

 

One Dance is now joint 5th of all time for most weeks at number one in the UK. At 11 weeks, it's 5 weeks being Bryan Adams Everything I Do to have the longest consecutive run.

Can't see it budging next week either as theirs really not much good in the top 10.

Not really one specific thing. A bunch of, admittedly maybe small, transgressions that aren't really being called out and also me remembering some past ones and being a lil bitter that those never got called out as much as they should've been cause poc had less avenues to speak. those artists are still slaying the game along with newer ones who are still using aave or putting on accents or appropriating and I'm just annoyed by it. idk if this makes sense I just woke up from a really weird nap lol.

 

You're good, I get what you're saying. I just wasn't sure if there was a specific conversation happening I didn't know about or if it was just a general thought.

 

Fifth Harmony's messiness is always in the back of my mind when I hear them, it's also like the first time we're seeing pop stars be stupid teens online really so it's much more visible for them, not condoning obviously

 

naw, I just had a long road trip where I listened to the radio for 12 hours straight and some white singers trying to front with their appropriated slang or fake accents got on my nerves lol
