That whole cast is already stacked, but I love Hunter Schafer especially, so I’m stoked to see her in more stuff
By far the best film of 2023. What a ride. Maybe Yorgos' best too? Could be too early to decide that though.
Not everything worked for me (way too much fish lense by the way) and I’d say The Favourite is better, but I also loved a lot of it and related to a lot of themes from a certain perspective. Glad to see Ruffalo in a role like this too. Also, I don’t think a lot of people in my showing realized it was a comedy for awhile; I was the only one cracking up in the beginning and at a lot of things.
I had concerns it was going to be too quirked up, and it toed that line multiple times in the movie, but it won me over by the end.
Checking Cinemark and the Poor Things website daily to see if they’ve updated the showtimes near me to include this. It’s definitely gonna be at a theater just under an hour away (thank goodness), but I’m hoping it comes just a bit closer. No, Cinemark, I do not want to see Wonka or Migration!
if Cinemark is anything like AMC, showtimes usually update on Wednesdays (if you didn't already know)
I never remember if it’s Tuesday or Wednesday, but I know it’s weekly and surprisingly close to when they catch up to previously posted days. But, I still keep checking while drinking my coffee in the morning, in hopes that they tacked on Poor Things before the full listing, lol.
