December 8th? I'm glad it's still this year but what's the point in delaying it until then?

Also hyped for the length, this looks like a film I want to spend a lot of time with.

 

Keeping it in the 2023 awards conversation, while giving it more room for a hypothetical resolution to the strikes (so Emma Stone can promote it)?

 

Yeah I get the idea I'm just not sure an extra few months is going to have much difference. Hopefully I'm wrong!

 

I think this strike is gonna be like COVID, where studios make adjustments to the schedule here and there, sometimes a bit at a time, in hopes that the situation resolves by the new date. (Of course the pandemic wasn’t solvable by simply treating creatives how they deserve to be treated, lol.)

Anyways, bummed to see the stacked September of this, Challengers, and The Creator fall apart. I think The Creator is the only one of those three to not move yet? Was gonna be such a killer fall.

 

Studio execs would rather lose millions upon millions of dollars, destroy the box office, piss on relationships built with talent, destroy any public good will and infuriate wall street - rather than even give up a tiny morsel of power over the people they employ to make movies and tv. Fucking morons that easily could be replaced with A.I.

 

this was pushed to January here and now I'm very sad.

 

If this is Yorgos' best that must mean it's really really good lmao
