Made the right decision to go to this tonight, show was incredible, and Christine's boyfriend proposed to her during the encore!
ok yeaaa this is it love the little details in the production rly take it to the next level daniiiiii
yeah, my first impression was that the production was a little busy but it's provided lots of replay value
caught this tour last night. it was their first time headlining Portland and was nearly sold out (300 cap). PONY was great, while Truth Club did nothing for me (solid, just not for me). Pool Kids musicianship was good, but Christine’s vocals left a little to be desired. she didn’t necessarily sound bad, but she also didn’t match the quality performance of the album. however, this is week four of the tour, and it’s probs difficult to focus on vocal performance when sweaty and shredding ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i don’t fault her for it, her stage presence more than made up for any slight deficits.
Truth Club's drummer was my favorite part of that band when I saw the tour a few days ago. Very dynamic and technical drummer. Christine ruled at my show, but it may have just been her stage presence that had me pumped. Pony was a lot of fun too. I got one of their shirts.
I saw them with Militarie gun and they were great and I forgot about them till now, and am spinning the album and it's really, really good. Listening to Last word as I type this and that ones a stand out. I hear a ton of Circa Survive in the guitars and layering as weird as that comparison may be. I was ready to buy tickets again to see their headliner and... bummer! it's the same day as Thrice for me and I can't justify this over that so next time I guess.
Seeing them tonight and realized I've never listened to the s/t in full. Listening now and this is great
Listening to this again tonight, and every time I come back to it there is just another standout song. Just better and better every time.
Show last week was great. It was my second time seeing them but the first time they were the opener and I wasn’t that familiar. It was awesome to be in a small room full of people singing and moshing to these songs
They’ve just been announced for 2000 Trees festival, so I went back to this and it fucking rules. Better than I remembered, by far.
The little instrumental groove/breakdown in “Which is Worse” is one of my favorite musical moments of 2025. Instant stank face.
Never heard of this band but this album autoplayed for me after Hayley Williams and I am really digging it
I will say that Amazon trying to farm merch sales from me instead of full-screening the album cover is lame as hell, but hey, I got a 3 month trial and they have lossless playback lol.
Haha yup. I'm sticking with my pattern of using YouTube Music that is free with my YouTube Premium subscription until I get lossless free trials from competitors in between.
Last.fm released their year in review tonight and only one person scrobbled “tinted windows” more than I did and it gave me such downer Ricky Bobby ain’t first you’re last feelings
