Made the right decision to go to this tonight, show was incredible, and Christine's boyfriend proposed to her during the encore!

    Queer as Heck

caught this tour last night. it was their first time headlining Portland and was nearly sold out (300 cap). PONY was great, while Truth Club did nothing for me (solid, just not for me).

Pool Kids musicianship was good, but Christine’s vocals left a little to be desired. she didn’t necessarily sound bad, but she also didn’t match the quality performance of the album. however, this is week four of the tour, and it’s probs difficult to focus on vocal performance when sweaty and shredding ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i don’t fault her for it, her stage presence more than made up for any slight deficits.

  8. Truth Club's drummer was my favorite part of that band when I saw the tour a few days ago. Very dynamic and technical drummer. Christine ruled at my show, but it may have just been her stage presence that had me pumped. Pony was a lot of fun too. I got one of their shirts.
