For sure, but they did that last time too. I feel like these songs have meshed the Renaissance and The Most Hated styles together pretty well. Very interested to hear the variation in songs with all the features though.
idk, this sounds extremely different for them. More focused on extreme technicality than melody as they were in the past. Reminds me more of Night Verses than anything out there
Hmm, I can see your point. It seems like they are allowing the catchiness to come through in the beats and electronic elements instead of the guitar. The technicality has been great on these songs, but they seem to be lacking a punch at times. Maybe there will be a song or two with a little more distortion on the guitar.
Uhhh, yeah actually, just like that. Man, what a jam. I know a lot of people didn't like TMH, but I love it so much.
Album's out today. Working on my second listen, doesn't seem to be a lot of variation here, so it all blends so far, but I do like it.
I'm having a hard time finding something to latch onto. Doesn't seem as catchy as previous efforts. I hope it's a grower.
Yeah, it’s much more dense. I totally understand, but on a technical level it’s consistently impressive. My friend and I revisited Reinassaince after listening to this, and their licks and melodies in the past were much more straightforward.
I've been saying that about BTBAM for 15 years. Some things just can't change, especially in this genre.
Lol idk if it was that, but they wouldn’t quit trying to be as bro as possible, repeating “let’s get fucked up” or “fucking gooooo brooo” over and over, having a specific vibe braggadocio...for what? I was so dissappointed
New single is great. I really like what Tim/Scott are doing with their playing. You instantly know it’s them (at least Tim)
Eh, I think the nylon guitars give this a pretty new feel. I think I like it better than the vast majority of NL,ND, which never caught on fully with me after being head over heels for Renaissance.
