oh god I forgot there was a claymation episode lmao. I liked the paintball episodes and then... idk how many other random ones
30 Rock out of those options. I can only assume anyone not voting for it has either never seen it or is one of those "big stupid jerks" I've read about that exist online.
Thank GAWD I was tagged in this mess of a thread. Frasier obvs. Roseanne (original run) Fresh Prince Boy meets world What's Happening!!
I haven’t seen all these shows, but which is the most consistent? Seinfeld has a few dud episodes, but not too many. Always Sunny could maybe take the cake, but I’ve only seen like 5 seasons
It's always sunny plummets for a couple seasons in the middle. 7 through 9 has some genuinely horrible television
Frasier is just such a clever show it always keeps me amused. That and they summed up my entire existence with the quote "she exhausts easily under the pressure to be interesting." The sort of dry cleverness of the show just resonates with me. I think some ppl associate it as boring and pretentious but like... Frasier and Niles are supposed to be ridic and pretentious and fussy and they are the butt of the joke. I enjoy that it examines some subjects such as Frasiers inability to be content in his relationships and always overthinking and comparing, and Niles anxiety. And the heart of the show where these two pretentious brother's bond over their typically "feminine" interests like opera and the arts and their dad loves and accepts them anyway. I love the episode where Martin lectures them because they're being rude, and he talks about how their mother had classy taste but was never snobby. And Roz being a strong character who can hold her own and stand up to any of the male characters. And i found it interesting when Niles and Daphne got together that they focused some time on how Niles had put her on this pedestal after yearning and obsessing over her for years and wasn't treating her like a human. I found it interesting since not many shows explore the obsessiveness of unrequited love finally coming to fruition And I just love how not self aware the brothers are. Like when Niles makes the comment "Dad is so judgemental - I've always condemned him for it." Or when Frasier brags about his sensitivity and perceptiveness as a therapist but then tells Daphne to get the door because he's being self absorbed and doesn't realize she's in pain. The humor was just like tailor made for me. And it's better than Cheers.
