Simpsons is hurting it's case the longer it's on. If you have to say "only half of this is good" then you can't also say it's the GOAT.

maybe I'll write in boy meets world for nostalgia but I mostly don't wanna have to choose between parks, Seinfeld, the good place and it's always Sunny cause I enjoy them all for different reasons

 

I feel like when “half the show” is ten or so seasons of basically no filler, that argument doesn’t work nearly as well. The run of quality episodes on that show was absurd.

 

It feels weird looking at a show as surreal as The Good Place in the same lens as these other shows

Not saying we shouldn't, it's obviously a very good sitcom, just feels weird
