catching articuno in platinum is such a nightmare, i can only battle it with my crobat and it keeps using roost so i have to keep getting it down back to low health. i went against it for at least 50 turns until my ultra balls ran out and my crobat fainted, threw my only timer ball and it still failed and then it ran. and yet this is the least time consuming way i have of getting one for my dex.

Was there any news about base stats changing with Pokemon in their alolan form?

Didn't really care that much when Sun/Moon was announced (was burnt from playing too much Pokemon), but these past few weeks has made me so damn excited.

 

So stoked for the new meta. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

 

From the same source, but currently without pictures so it's unconfirmed, Jangmo-o's evolution is in the magazine, and is Dragon/Fighting-type, and that Type: Null it evolves into a Pokémon called Shiruvadi (シルヴァディ) and that either Null or its evolution change type based on items it holds. The same source says that Shiruvadi has got the ability "AR System" which changes its type based on the hold item.

 

I used to run Pain Split/Night Shade/Will-O-Wisp/Trick Room, but I've seen people use the last slot for Taunt, Ice Beam, or Destiny Bond as well. I don't know how effective that set is now since I haven't used it in a while though.

 

This pseudo legend dragon is gonna suckkkkk.
