have a hunch they are, if only because the trailer gives impression team skull are low motive/petty thieves. good money is on the dudes with all the infrastructure and a giant artificial island being the badduns.

The shapes of its front and hind legs are clearly different. The reason is that Type: Null was constructed to synthesize the strengths of various Pokémon, enabling it to adapt to any situation.

The mask fitted to Type: Null’s head is a piece of equipment designed to control its latent powers. It’s extremely heavy, so it also serves to hinder Type: Null’s agility.

To complete a certain mission, there was need of a Pokémon powerful enough to rival those Pokémon often spoken of in mythology.

theory is that type: null was a failed experiment of aether, who are gene splicing and stuff to create a pokemon capable of dealing with the ultra beasts. they arent protecting pokemon, theyre researching and doing experiments on them.

 

They probably want to control Zygarde as well

 

i love the taking pictures thing but it seems like it will be in specific spots, wish it would be anywhere (a la pictobox from wind waker). the music is actually standing out for me, which is great because a big gripe i had with xy was how dull the soundtrack was. team aether looks awesome and i hope you can battle them in some way, which i imagine you will.
jellyfish is definitely my favorite of the pokemon they showed today. little dragon is cool too, looks like it could be this gens pseudo.
also the 12 hours thing is strange, that will probably disregard the 3ds clock, which leads me to believe that if the game folllows and in game time period then it could be pretty plot heavy.

conspiracy theories meet pokemon! I love this Aether thing and the new pokemon are cool. I'm so excited for this gen

 

i like the name type: null, shows how little regard aether had for it that they didn't give it a real name

 

i think it sticks to the clock. most people play the games during the daylight hours obviously. by swapping the times, people with moon will be playing mostly while it's dark in-game while if you're playing sun it'll be mostly light the majority of the time you play. there are prolly certain events that get triggered by night/day, but i think the main idea was to make moon be played mostly in the dark.
