They're easily my favourite basic three but the evolutions for Totodile and Chikorita are laaame.

 

I need to get more shinies hahaha

 

My favorite thing about the Totodile line growing up was the fact that it learned crunch and did some huge damage to Ghost and Psychic types.

 

I usually think starter Pokemon start out cool and just get worse though.

 

Yup pretty much, it was so useful early on

 

If you can get a hidden ability (Contrary) Snivy, you are golden. That thing is wonderful.

i got oras at a midnight release and then went to a friends house to play and i think in like half an hour i was in slateport. i think i finished the game within the week.

 

I wish egg charm made eggs hatch faster instead of increasing the chances of getting one.

 

Me too, that's what I thought they did. It's already almost instant to get one.

Use a flame body ability pokemon as your lead (talonflame, slugma) and it cuts the hatch steps in half.

 

Yeah I've got one and it's still taking way longer than its taking to get the eggs haha

Not that I'd expect it to be even but Oval Charm seems to have no point when eggs already arrive before you have a chance to hatch them all

 

I feel ya. I've been hatching Dratini eggs and these dragon ones take forever. That said, I have about six or seven perfect Dratinis at this point. Still no shiny though.

Dratinis do take a while. I'm doing Larvitar right now which I think is around the same, if anything it's slightly shorter time but yeah haha.

 

Really? I've had varying distances with eggs and had some I picked up later hatch earlier than ones I already had based on type.

 

Would have sworn they changed it so they are all the same on a recent gen. I could be wrong.

 

I could be as well because I'm also tired all the time haha, I'll have to test to see which it is
