Seems like it will be a restricted format with no legends, so easier for new people to get into. I’ve dabbled in competitive briefly but hopefully Champions make the barrier for entry much lower.
I'm on a work call right now, so I can't look to much into it, but is it like Showdown style building? or do we still need to EV train, etc. for builds?
It's like a compromise between the 2, you spend points to change stats It's also a totally new stat system by the looks of it rather than being the EV/IV system which is very overdue. It's a big shift for sure in that regard but I think it's a big positive
sounds great to me. The amount of time to EV, natures, hidden abilities, hatching, etc. really puts a ton of people out of the competitions.
I'ma try to learn VGC (again, but actually this time) I think I'll be very bad at it but I think it's time to revisit competitive
Yeah you use earned points for stats and natures. I couldn’t tell if you had to for abilities but it don’t look like there was any special item or whatever for hidden abilities.
I finally got the ability to add water places and am building out my water palace for my Pokemon that like it humid. Very excited, this is gonna rule.

Anybody have extras of Roserade (B2/005), Hearthflame Mask Ogrepon (B2/027), Zapdos (B2/051), Chandelure (B2/069), Gallarian Perrserker (B2/111), or Swellow (B2/133)? Willing to trade any Pokemon I have 3 of or a share if you’re feeling generous. Just need two of these Pokemon before I have enough points to buy the rest.
