How does it compare to ACNH? Would I like this if I loved ACNH but have kind of fallen off with the grind of Pokemon games these days?
People compare it to viva piñata and dragon quest builders which I have never played. But it does feel like animal crossing with way more to do. It’s real time like ACNH which definitely hinders ACNH a bit but not in this. There’s so much to do and the map is huge.
I've been debating about getting Pokopia, but I just beat RE9 and want to take a breather before jumping into another game.
I'm too immediately hooked on STS2 but I am so excited to start Pokopia. Got it downloaded last night and will try to start tonight.
I've kinda been getting into Pokemon after grading some old Japanese cards I have, "AC with way more to do" just sold me on this
pulled the trigger on fire red so i’m a little preoccupied with that but i will be grabbing pokopia soon here i’m sure. its been a while since i played first gen so im loving fire red so far
So confused. Trying to build a leaf den, I dropped the necessary materials, and when I bring Timburr over and talk to him, there's no option to ask him to help you build??
Any idea how to actually set the habitat as my home haha? Timburr told me "great! You have 3 pieces of furniture and can live here now!" But idk how to actually do that lol
Talk to Tangrowth and he gives you a flag to put on it I'm pretty sure. Also you don't count as an occupant so you can put another pokemon in your house as your roommate. Magikarp is my roomie right now he's a chiller.
Haha hell yeah thanks man! Gotta say, I wasn't totally sold on this game at first because I'm not super creative. But then I changed my mindset to "restore the city to what it seems like it would have used to look like" and it's been a great way to pass time haha. Will make improvements when I spruce things up, repair the roads, water everything, etc.
I made a whole sky highway above my first area connecting all the different areas and I want to try and build home inside of staircases and make a weird MC Escher aesthetic. Then I'm going to build Urithuru, a tower from my favorite fantasy books series. I have some crazy plans for this area.
The notes you receive in the first area indicate Kanto (references to Misty, bike paths, and underground tunnels). But there was also stuff about ninjas which I'm not sure is Kanto. I have a theory that we are in Bills computer and the Pokémon that show up are being caught by the trainer.
