There is currently a rumor that Fire Red and Leaf Green will be released as ports for switch, on eshop not NSO

 

Not on NSO makes a lot of sense for Pokemon. But also that exact rumor was also a thing before.

 

I hope so. No better time than the franchise’s 30th anniversary. I’d pay full price idc

So? I don't really care about the budget of a game, what I care about is quality.

I would personally like smaller, finely tuned and tailor made experiences that feel unique in the Pokemon world rather than what we are getting now.

I do understand that having a bigger budget would allow for more time, more polish, additional features, etc but I honestly don't see the current leadership at Pokemon ever allowing Game Freak to actually make interesting/drastic decisions to the franchise when it sells like gangbusters regardless of quality.

 

The Riddler Khu person also was hinting that it was happening as well, they've been fairly accurate
