I mean Celebi can be easily delt with by a good fire deck, but Mewtwo is a pain. Haven't quite found the solution to beating him.

 

I’ve beaten Mewtwo decks with Arbok/Weezing or Nidoking/Weezing. I’m sure I’ve beaten them with one of the water decks I run, but I can’t remember lol

Looking forward to trying out Scolipede/Weezing as a new dark variant

Dragonite/Weezing has been my successful deck against Mewtwo decks. It doesn’t work every time of course because Dragonite is a Stage 2, so you need a good draw order, but poisoning/stalling with Weezing while you evolve Dragonite is a solid strategy.

 

I beat a couple Mewtwo decks yesterday with a Blaine deck. I had a great time lol

Scolipede/Weezing/Muk against these Mewtwo/Mew setups is so fun. Lot of annoyed folks on the other end still running their Mew meta decks and just getting poisoned to death.

 

The annoying Celebi decks as well. Just use a Sabrina to make them swap Celebi with their Serperior and then knock it out. Ruins their entire plan

 

I’ve been having mixed results with Scolipede/Weezing and I don’t like Muk, but getting matched up with a Mewtwo deck when running a dark deck is almost always a dub lol

Now Aerodactyl ex is the only card I’m missing from Mythical Islans

 

I got the special art AeroEX but still need Mew, just have the non-EX one.

 

I got the special art Mew EX a couple days ago. My new favorite card. I still need the special art Aerodactly EX

 

I pulled full art Celebi the other day and I was like hell yeah but now I’ve pulled regular celebi 3 times in the last 2 weeks and I’m like what the hell

 

I’ve pulled 3 of the full art Celebi EX. Wish they’d hurry and release trading so he could get something out of them

 

There is supposedly going to be more information regarding trading in January, but I don’t know if that means it was finally be available or what, but I wish it were available already because supposedly a new set will be released at the end of January so idk how inclined people are going to be to trade for older cards at that point

I finished the card dex for both sets (not including all full art/ultra rares)

I have 226/226 for genetic apex and I have 68/68 for mythical island

 

209/226 Apex, 63/68 Island, and 28 Promo A

 

The other day I did two pack opens in a row. On the 5th card it was a Nidoking full art I already had. On the next pack, on the 5th card, I pulled the NidoQUEEN full art that I did not have.

I swear the devs were hacking my device to see me through my camera to collect data on my reaction. No other explanation.
