i'm losing my mind lol, that told us so little (re Legends) but it was incredibly intriguing and well put together. best pacing and formatting for one of these they've ever done as well, the mobile news was there for those that cared and brushed by so fast that the Cafe players prob had to pause and scrub. gf and i are pumped to pocket tcg on the couch and commute too, i burn my $5 monthly GameStop coupon on two packs for fun, but have no interest in spending more money than that so this is perfect.

 

My Pokemon experience in the last few years has only been TCG, Go on my phone, and Lets Go Pikachu. Anything recent I should jump on?

 

I can't suggest Legends Arceus enough.

 

the only reason i don't play Arceus anymore is i played it so much i have a nearly full living shiny dex from it (goddamn you, Burmy). best game in the series since BW/BW2 in a walk for me.

 

Legends ZA has a surprisingly terrible logo

 

I’m glad it’s not a mainline new game because they need to reevaluate and get their shit together performance wise before they put one out.

BW are by far my favorites so I was hoping for a remake but I did enjoy Arceus more than most mainlines in recent memory so I’m excited to see a new Legends game

 

i still play Go very actively, but have never been tempted by an in-person ticketed event. felt like they went light with NYC Go Fest last year because it was somehow their first dip into that market and they didn't need to do much else to sell it than to just have it.

if they do something cool in Manhattan for some kind of citywide Unova tour, i'd make a weekend out of it

 

I very much think the core of Legends is good, but was ultimately but in a completely underwhelming and forgettable package so I'm hoping they learned a lot from this because they could create something really special this time around.

I don't think we'll get a mainline for a little while because I'm sure they're taking the criticism of Scarlet and Violet pretty seriously.

 

I'm sure a mainline is being saved for the 30th anniversary and hopefully make improvements for the Switch 2.

 

Yeah hopefully it'll look like an Xbox 360 game

- Old megas will return (Garchamp and Salamance are featured because they are the editor’s favorites)

- Lumiose will have a lot of Pokémon walking around within.
