Totodile. The rest of the squad that I’m considering includes Ampharos, Heracross, and Ninetales. Just need a flyer (Noctowl? Skarmory?) and somebody else that could give me some extra coverage against Lance and/or Red
Skarmory would give the steel help for Lance. A ground type like Donphan or one of the Nidos would round out the team well.
Yeah I’ve thought about some kind of ground type to help round out the team. I considered Mamoswine because the ice coverage would definitely help against Lance. Unfortunately, Red’s Pikachu knows Iron Tail so I’m a little nervous about that, but Mamoswine has great HP so hopefully it could take an Iron Tail if it hits and just one shot it with an Earthquake I considered Skarmory for a long while now, but I’ve had some second thoughts recently given its 5% encounter rate and low growth rate at the point in the game that I can find it. Still, all the other flying Pokémon in SS don’t move the needle for me so I’m thinking of just grinding away trying to find one and then grind it up 15 levels or so for the elite four and Lance
Yeah I didn’t have nearly as difficult a time putting together a team to go through Leaf Green. I recently decided though to just focus on a team that will help me take on the elite four, Lance, and Red, trusting that all the blanks will get filled in along the way. I’m not too concerned about the Kanto gym leaders at that point in the game. I also have come to notice that the TMs are just very weird in this game. Some good ones are either too expensive from the Goldenrod game corner, don’t come until Kanto, or are only available through the battle frontier, which has made it trickier too when developing a team beforehand.
spent a lot of time using this as an excuse to get better at pixel art junk and im gonna be posting a lot more frequently on IG for related types of things. this will be the only selfpromo lol
Caught me a shiny Christmas themed Stantler in Go last night. Been looking for one those for the last 2 years.
Indigo Disc is the second most fun Pokemon has been this gen behind PLA. it takes a lot of what was great mechanically about Casette Beasts's postgame loop (little field quests that allow you to unlock more species over time and award their own currency), and the Terarium is bigger than it looks because there is a load of verticality. reboot Pokemon Ranger, make it this, and i'll be happy
So I've been getting pretty lucky on surprise trades. Yes the shinies I'm getting are named after the site that's more than likely cloning them, but they're holding a Master ball so I'm not complaining.
My 9 year old gets so hyped getting all these shiny legendaries like that and I’m like there’s no way that’s real
So we got a matcha Pokémon in DLC 1 and will get a mochi Pokemon in DLC 3. Where is my dorayaki Pokemon
