ranking games like this feels weird because I'm looking at it and thinking it looks wrong (Sw/Sh 2nd? S/V 4th? Gen 1~4 5th and lower?), but I also don't really know how I'd rearrange it, so it's probably correct? X/Y in last and B/W in first are probably the only ones I think is definite.

It would be way easier to rank regions or regional Pokédexes I think, haha.

Don't know if any of you guys followed this but Reversal was doing a shiny feebas hunt in SwSh and finally got it. It was a 1% fishing encounter chance on top of only 1 in 1365.33 chance of encountering a shiny. He got 82 shiny Chewtle and 135 shiny Magkicarp in the process lol

I can’t rank the games without nostalgia setting in and clouding my judgment. I’ll always be Red/Blue or Gold/Silver as my favorites just for the memories.

I'm playing through Gold right now and man, some of it is so dated that it's hard to play. There's still a ton to enjoy about it, but damn. We really have come a long way.

 

Doing the same thing I did last year when I couldn’t justify $60 for Scarlet: playing Emerald on my phone instead of buying this DLC

Who here bought the DLC?

 

i got an Amazon gift card and did not realize they sold codes for the DLC, so that was a nice surprise. question: did everyone get the QoL features, like the camera settings and the form-spexific outbreaks, or is that just paid? i probably won't even touch the DLC story content itself for a bit, first thing i did was get giddy to reroll outbreaks and finish my Tatsugiri bento

 

Played all day yesterday, they’re great at making you like a side character with weird hair, but all the running to cut scenes is pretty weak

one of the hidden clan members really kept fucking be up

 

Finally finished the DLC dex. It's crazy how easy it is to fill your dex now.
