Would be great if true. BDSP and PLA were better than gen 8 or 9 and BDSP was just a copy/paste of an older game. Ideally, I think a release schedule should follow this They should release a main series game once every 5 years and ILCA make 2 games during that time, either remakes or spin-offs. GameFreak can also have DLC. Year 1: main series game Year 2: DLC 1/ ILCA game Year 3: DLC 2 Year 4: ILCA game 2 Year 5: main series game
No here's the full quote by Utsunomiya at the Pokemon world championship over the weekend “I think in general, if you look at the past, the path we’ve taken up until now has been this constant release, always regularly releasing products on a fairly fixed kind of a cadence, you might say. Always having these products able to be introduced and new experiences for our customers, and that’s how we’ve operated up until now. I think we’re still operating in that way, but there’s more and more conversations, as the development environments change, about how we can continue to do this, while making sure that we’re ensuring really quality products are also being introduced.”
“We’re having conversations” aka as long as we keep printing money this is how it’s going to keep going. I don’t have much faith in them improving their quality given what’s been put out recently. Would love to be proven wrong though.
After SV I really am not interested in another open world. The ball was dropped so hard and unless GameFreak expands their team or takes more time I know another open world will just be copy/paste exactly like Paldea. Routes > open world. An “open area” is ok similar to that in ShSw and PLA, but as an entire region? No thank you
I hope pokemon just goes back to gbc graphics so people could sit there and click through dialogue for twenty hours.
I didn’t play Emerald until 2020 and it was one of my best experiences playing a Pokémon game, so, sure, why not. Can’t be as bad as the 30 hours of dialogue and cut scenes that Sun/Moon had. It felt like my character running would set off a cut scene
As long as they make one unbearable game for people with a ridiculous level of patience and a modern one for me, I’m fine with it
For those of you who follow tennis, Nick Kyrgios recently got a giant ass Pokemon-themed back tattoo and I somehow convinced the editors at GQ to let me interview him all about it Nick Kyrgios Told Us All About His Gigantic Pokémon Back Tattoo
I've never played Pokemon Unite before, but he said it's his favorite Pokemon game of all time and I see him posting about it on IG and Twitter all the time. Should I check it out?
Sure, it’s free. I used to see him post about it a lot and wondered why the big content creators never did a collab with him. I guess they probably just don’t follow tennis much. It’s a really fun game until it isn’t haha
Does anyone have a brute bonnet so I can finish the paradox in my Pokédex? I was trading with someone and because I got a starter in a wonder trade they had a shit fit and told me to trade them back their mon. I just need brute bonnet now and I’ll have registered them all.
