I haven’t pulled hardly any of the latest sets… but if I was going to pull a card from SV base, this was it!

 

Yeah, idk if they’re like a better pull rate but the ones on tpc were amazing. I got one of each, got that miraidon alt art and then a miraidon secret rare in the other lol it's been way easier to pull from compared to the newest set for sure.

 

Is that secret rare the gold, 3 star rarity one? Either way that’s pretty sick.

It’s funny… last time I got together with friends to crack packs, I had pulled a gold energy… one of the guys pulled that gold Miraidon full-art, and another pulled the alt-art Koraidon…

Then obviously just the other day, I pulled the other alt-art… so yeah, hit rates feel pretty insane. Too easy tbh… and the resulting values are low.

 

Anyone tried sleep yet? I think you can be friends on it too but not sure why exactly

Apparently when you’re friends you get more berries and discover bonuses more easily so it’s a good thing. Only downside is you can only have 50 friends right now.

 

what's the point of pokemon sleep? do you get stuff you can use in the mainline games or something?

 

Not yet but you can get shinies so people speculate you might able to transfer them to home at some point. Right now, you can get a bunch of bonuses in go daily when you link them.

Maybe second half of this year. Pokémon in sleep already have levels, natures and stats so it would be weird if you couldn’t lol

I'm still trying for that Mismagius

 

I pulled that mismagius in one of the first packs I opened but the cards in those packs were very slightly dinged so I wouldn’t mind pulling another.

 

Started a LeafGreen Nuzlocke and I definitely overshot how easy Brock was when you have Mankey.

 

nuzlockes are for certified psychopaths

 

It's not that hard, at least not with this game. I'm making an exception for the Safari Zone because I want Kangaskhan.

 

I just don’t think nuzzlockes are fun, to each their own

 

My biggest rule when playing a new Pokémon game is I have to try and use new Pokémon on my team that I haven’t used before and even then I’m really bad at it. I blame Lucario, Gardevoir, and Palossand for being too much fun.

 

I had a lot of fun with Scarlet/Violet for that reason. Felt like I had more fun with some of the newer pokemon this gen than the last few.
