Yeah I always loved gen 2 way back in the day. The first three gens were the ones that I actually completed the story for. Diamond was the first game I never finished the story on and then they finally lost me in gen 5. We'll see if I can push through this time though
My first HeartGold playthrough is probably the most I've ever loved playing Pokemon (and the most I've ever played endgame)
The endgame of the original Gold and Silver was mindblowing when it came out and nothing has topped it since.
tbh you're better off emulating 3ds pokemon games if your pc can handle it, i wouldn't spend the money people are asking on it.
I do wish the gym leaders in the second half of gen 2 were tougher because I remember not having much difficulty with them and there wasn't as much to do otherwise, but that last battle at the end of the game was always sick
@Dinkleberg If you want, I can sell you my 2DS and my Pokemon games for it. I'm probably not going back to them. I'd move them to you for much cheaper than people are selling them for. Let me know.
they should let me have the nature mints before post game so i didn't have to spend hours breeding a jolly gible.
Natures are one of the more annoying developments of this game. I'm cool with the abilities. Natures just reinforce some of the more frustrating aspects of this game for me. Could not believe I found a Doduo last night at the exact level I wanted it at with the exact ability I wanted it to have and with the exact nature I wanted it to have. Could not have been more fortunate so I didn't have to grind for god knows how long until I found that one I wanted.
on the bright side, i discovered that just circling around the dark type team star base with a party full of eggs and a talonflame with warm body makes the process a lot quicker.
I don't know what most of this means because I really only remember the first two generations and a bit of the third, but I am still happy for you I will say, I've largely had fun in my replay of Leaf Green so far. Squirtle the goat starter
oh sorry, i didn't know if you had played the new one or not. squirtle was my favorite until the grass cat in scarlet and violet. leaf green is GOATed.
I'm sure I'll get to them eventually, but I'm starting from the beginning for now. Hopefully I get further than I did my first go around with this series
Totodile is cool. I always found myself having the most fun starting with the water type. Always liked that they could learn Ice Beam and some had access to dark moves, like Squirtle and Totodile could learn Bite. It was always nice to have more coverage through games. Always found that my starters were used fairly regularly as opposed to for a specific duration of the game and then rarely after that.
Definitely an upper tier baby starter too I can't believe I didn't think about Piplup as I was running through em in my head
Decided to get back into the card game due to my coworker challenging me. I stopped by a shop and found this gem sealed for only $450 Taiwanese ($15 USD). It resales for $110 USD. Someone wasn’t checking the value.
