Since the feature was introduced, I have been gathering postcards in Go in order to shiny hunt the Vivillon in Scarlet. I finally caught the last one this morning. Here they all are:
Recently committed to playing these games again for the first time in over a decade and having so much fun going through Leaf Green at the moment. Going to go one gen at a time so Soul Silver is up next, then I think I'm going to buy a Switch to get Omega Ruby
Wait I don't think you can play Omega Ruby on the Switch? Unless it's been put on the eShop and I didn't know
Is it worth buying one if I'm thinking of just buying a Switch? I still have my old Ruby version for GBA, but the internal clock in it is dead so I can't do any time-based events in it anymore.
I guess I should also mention that I have a DS and that's it so I know I'm covered up through Black version (which I have), but I'm not sure what the future games are on. I've been out of the game for a while and now I'm lost lol
Hmmmmm. Buying a whole ass 3DS just for Omega Ruby? If this was a few years ago when you could get a 2DS for like super cheap maybe, but I wouldn't now if you're going to get a Switch.
So 2DS used to be super cheap so maybe you'd have better luck finding one of those at a good price now. It doesn't have the 3D feature, but it plays all the same games. That, X and Omega Ruby and Sun and Moon will cost you a good penny.
Are you trying to play all these games on their original systems? I don't emulate anything myself, but someone here might know something about that.
Nah, I figured I’d play the remakes if possible. I’m playing Leaf Green on my DS, then I’m gonna go out and buy Soul Silver for the DS. I also have my original Diamond and Black for the DS, but wouldn’t be opposed to buying the remake of Diamond. I could feasibly just roll with my DS for the first five gens (Leaf Green, Soul Silver, Ruby, Diamond, Black), then buy a 3DS for the next ones
I wish Nintendo (and other companies) made it so much easier to play older games. It's such a colossal pain in the ass having to own 30 different systems and shell out my life savings.
I had a 2DS w/Pokemon Ultra Sun sitting around for awhile and when I saw the prices going up for used ones I sold mine for like $150 lol
Oh yeah, I'm fully expecting to shell out, like, $75 because some goofballs are trying to take advantage of nostalgia. I had an OG Silver version when I was younger, but lost that somehow, then I got Soul Silver and let a friend borrow it at one point, but then my friend's brother stole it and my DS from him and sold them both for money So this will be my third time getting this dumb shit game and I'm sure it's going to melt or snap in half because that's just my dumb luck lol
