This so much Someone wants to fight me and they understand the whole IV thing and battling and like, nah. I don't want to get my face stomped in.
Clodsire is solidly OU, I see him all the time. Unaware is a great ability and with toxic and recover he’s a top wall. One of the best chi-yu counters too.
I'm not sure it it'll stay OU for Smogon, because of the power creep and most teams being hyper-offensive right now. But it's a great wall, competitively, and I think it's probably better in a competitive setting than an in-game setting.
You can, giving a destiny knot will randomly pass 5 IV stats from the holder to the egg. Or you can give a power anklet to the mon with the 0 speed IV and the eggs will have a guaranteed 0 speed IV. The best strategy would be to give a 5/6 perfect IV ditto a destiny knot and then a power anklet to the mon with the 0 speed IV. then breed for the natures later.
love clodsire competitively. always been a fan of mons like it, those in the draft league might remember my pyukumuku, and clodsire is even better. access to unaware is awesome, but ive found myself running it with water absorb instead, the ability to just shut down water is so useful. even in a meta thats moved away from stall ive had alot of fun using it. worked wonders for me.
I’m a big fan of shiny egg hunting. Can’t wait for home compatibility cuz i have so many 5/6IV shinies that i bred in SwSh and they are my babies. I also enjoy competitive stuff but i’m bad at it, even with IVs and natures and hyper training and all. Still fun tho
Clodsire is awesome. Despite its mediocre stats I've used one my entire play through, and its type combination + two immunities + being a chonky beast has made it fun to use.
Thanks, I got some mixed answers so I wasn’t exactly sure. Are the power anklets at the delibird store?
I just started Violet a few weeks ago and everything was going fine. I beat two titans, one star captain, and one gym. But now the area I'm in has trainers with pokemon 50 or above and I'm only at 25-30. I like the open world but now I don't know where I should go next to keep on battling. Do I just wander?
When you go to the Pokémon Centers you can ask them “what should I do next?” or some option like that. I found that was usually pretty useful in pointing me toward areas that were at my level.
I just looked it up online, but generally if you went one direction from the school area, try the other direction
i watch a lot of youtube videos on competitve pokemon but i'll never actually sink in the time to fully iv/ev train a team for that
anyone got a Quaxly for my Fuecoco? been trying to do the 0004-0007 link trade but people keep choosing Fuecoco to send to me too lol so frustrating
I’m 95% sure my nephew is getting me Pokémon for Christmas. Any tips and tricks, given that most of you have finished it?
