Finally finished the main story yesterday, loooooved the whole Area Zero part of the story

 

Here’s the thing, is it like under the surface of the earth? I feel like it has to be, obviously it’s below sea level. It feels like the story of these games is constantly somehow related to how incentivizing profit over all else is actually bad for humans lol

 

Just beat this. Easily the best storyline in the series. Wish the entire game was area zero

 

It’s been it’s been really difficult to get herba mystica in raids, if anyone is using them for shiny hunts and wants to invite so we could both get more shiny pokemon let me know. I believe you can just turn off your game if you hard save before you make the sandwich and you’ll still have your mystica.

I'm up to 330, can I find scarlet exclusives in raids or do I need to find someone to trade?

 

What do you need? I have Scarlet and wouldn’t mind trading for some Violet exclusives.

You can get into raids through the poke portal but it seems it’s a little tough joining random raids atm.

 

All of them really, I don't have anything outside of my game. I'd need to stock up on the Violet exclusive to trade, I just caught all of the paradox guys.

 

I’ll look up the list and catch an extra of each of the exclusives. Haven’t quite gotten to area 0 yet but I’ll let you know when I do

spent over an hour in area zero and saw exactly zero iron thorns. it’s the only paradox i have left to catch

 

Try using a sandwich that increases encounter odds for rock or electric types, I would think that should help.

They only spawn by a rock wall by the second station, I was able to find one there after a few tries.

Just walk around the rock slopes and you’ll see it, because of the frame issue sometimes they take awhile to load

 

How did you guys choose between Scarlet and Violet? I've read up a bit on the differences but I still don't know which to buy.

 

Truthfully I just wanted to finally use a Salamence

 

Honestly? I liked the color scarlet better lol.

 

I liked the designs of the paradox Pokémon better in Scarlet

 

I like the purple legendary more, you’ll be spending all your time with them so that was the most important to me.

also I wanted Cerulege for my team.

 

I started a second team, training them up to rematch all the gym leaders. Just got Volcarona and they look great in this game.
