I very much wish there were more challenging trainers out there

 

Just caught the second Miraidon

 

I haven’t had that bad of a time idk, it’s felt way more challenging than the last game. It’s probably because I keep changing my team and not training as hard, though. However, I’m not sure why the gyms from Larry to grusha have almost all the same level Pokémon, it’s been too easy.

 

If you have sandstorm going, does the rock/ground orb get a defense bonus?

 

I wish there were more trainers in general. I find them pretty hard to find

 

Idk, sometimes I would think this and then talk to the rep in a zone and he’d be like you need to defeat 7 trainers and I’d be like where the fuck? and go out exploring to find them which is likely the intent because that part of it was fun. but yea the trainer battles lack any difficulty whatsoever unless they have the black chat bubble then they can one shot your whole team lol

 

Idk what you mean by orb but yes (kind of). Rock type Pokémon get a special defense boost in sandstorm weather. Rock, ground, and steel are immune to the damage from sand.

 

If anyone finds a dark or fairy type eevee Tera raid lmk! I’ll be playing for a while tonight.

 

I’m going to lose my mind if my Pawmo doesn’t evolve soon

 

You have to have Pawmo walk 1000 steps with the let’s go feature before it can evolve

 

Just in case you don’t know yet, it doesn’t evolve by level, it evolves by taking 1000 steps in Let’s Go and then on the next level up. The steps have to be continuous though (no going back into Poke ball). That last part got me so frustrated I just walked back and forth between two spots for 10 min to be certain.

 

Okay I knew the walking gimmick but didn’t realize it had to be continuous!

Lmao I also didn’t know it had to be continuous. I was going insane with my Rellor thinking I HAD to have walked 1000 steps with it.

 

I’m on the last gym now, should be easy.

Something that is kind of eh is that on Ycomm, I could see if someone I’m friends with was doing a raid and join it but the raids in this game are totally random unless you put in a link code and are talking to eachother already

 

Seems like Violet was way more popular than Scarlet. Spent almost an hour last night trying to trade paradox Pokémon and only got 3 of the 8. May just have to wait for Pokémon Home access to complete the Pokédex…

 

You can go into someone’s game and catch them as well, that might be easier if you know just one person with the other game
