My other 2k egg hatched while I was cooking dinner and it was another Machop. If I were playing the actual Pokemon game I would be stoked. He was always one of my staples.

 

Don't you need a lot of them to evolve it anyways? Multiples are a good thing I thought.

 

I finally got the Machop that has been haunting my neighbourhood. It was only CP 67 though. I was so glad when I finally found it, but I'm annoyed it's such a low CP.

 

How come some pokemon have blue light behind them when you're looking at them in your list and some don't

 

catching Pokemon in non ar has helped me save so many poke balls.

 

ar is a waste of battery and time.

 

To me it looks like those are any who are listed as "extra large" or "extra small" for their height/weight. (Could be wrong on this)

 

Do all pokemon of the same type have the same max level of CP?

For example, if i catch Pidgeot at 647 and another at 345, do they both ONLY have the potential to go up to 700?

 

I thought this was it too, but it's not. Have some that are xs/xl that don't have the light and vice versa.

 

Ohh, interesting! Then I'm definitely not sure what the blue light means, haha

 

Maybe it signifies which Pokemon you caught that day? That's the only connection I see with my Pokemon that have it

Actually this looks like the answer. If you sort them by most recent it seems to be all of the ones from today with the blue light

 

I think it goes up when you level up?

 

I got this yesterday and I love it. I haven't tried the gyms yet but I'm having fun just catching and evolving them. I'm level 8 and my highest is a 544 Jolteon. Right down the road from me is a park with 5 pokestops and on my way to work there's about 10. My girlfriend also downloaded it and we walked around the park tonight for about an hour, it was great. We were so close to a pikachu but it disappeared. Nothing ever pops up in my apartment though and that's annoying.

 

Most of my best ones are through evolving, but I've still only been seeing a lot of basics. I've explored a lot of areas, same as my girlfriend, and she's got 15 more than I do including a Pikachu, Magmar, and Electrobuzz. I want to find just like, one really rare one and then I won't feel like my app is inferior :(

 

Nah the max CPs appear to be different for each Pokemon including when they're the same Pokemon

 

I made that post, opened my app, and caught a CP538 Weezing in my room. Are you listening Jesus?

Went to a bar tonight which was a pokestop, it was on lure the entire time. Didn't catch anything spectacular, but I got a ton of stuff that will help me do some evolutions soon

 

there are rumours that Littens evo is fire/fighting hahahahahahahah
