These are the only methods to boost shiny rate. Shiny charm for completing the dex, defeating so many Pokémon in mass outbreaks, and there are specific sandwich recipes that boost shiny rate for each type (can post a list if you want it). Also don’t know if you’re familiar but the masuda method for hatching eggs, which basically is one of the parents originate from a game with a different language than your own save file.

Masuda method is pretty much the easiest in the main games like these. If you trade a bunch on surprise trades you’ll eventually find something that you want. If you can get a good foreign ditto though that will be the best.
