Can’t justify the money for this right now but started replaying Emerald on my phone last night and got a shiny Zubat next to Dewford so I’m chillin

 

I have to say, the art in this game is definitely better than swsh or arceus. I watched rookidee evolve into corvisquire and was like woah, I love this mon. It looks sooooo much better.

 

I think the stack of twigs Pokémon is the ugliest Pokémon ever created.

 

i could never find the motivation to shiny hunt. i tried to hunt a shiny staryu in let's go eevee for maybe 2 hours and gave up.

I’ve shiny hunted before but this one was random. I think it’s only the third time I’ve ever found a random shiny in the 1/8192-odds games (and I had no pokeballs for one of those)

 

I got one in SwSh and refused to evolve it

The stork randomly showed up as soon as I beat giacomo and initiated a battle with me lol didn’t even have to look for it

i found a shiny fearow in diamond when i was younger. i hated fearow tho so i just killed it lmao

 

I did the fire one way sooner than I should have, got it down but it was close. I love that there’s some challenge here when you tackle stuff a little above your weight

There’s a glitch where my hat won’t go back on now lol I even changed my hairstyle back and it still won’t show up. This game haha

 

The dark one is the easiest one to do first and it still was really hard. I’m not training as hard as I was in the beginning because I want these to be challenging though

 

i never have the patience to wild shiny hunt but i will and have spent weeks hatching entire teams of perfect shinies. can’t wait for home compatibility so i can bring some of my sparkling children over

 

The water town also has the starters on hats, it’s very animal crossing haha

 

What did everyone tackle next after the second gym?

I’ve done bug/grass and the rock Titan

You can pick hats glasses gloves shoes socks and backpacks, that plus switching the base clothing to whatever season feels reasonable enough

 

After those I did fire base, electric gym, then flying titan. Not the best path but it worked haha
